DEATH over DONUTS
DEATH over DONUTS is the ‘Ten Thousand Doors’ way of introducing community-based conversations about dying, death and end of life issues that are open, safe and uplifting. In 2011, Death cafés were created by Jon Underwood to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their ‘finite’ lives, and we support this idea.
While each session or meeting is open to everyone, we will also be hosting targeted conversations that have relative importance to particular situations, i.e. Partners, Parents, Siblings, Children/Teens, etc. Some discussions in our sessions will be topic based, or based pm books/documentaries while others will simply offer an opportunity for individuals to talk about what matters to them in that moment.
